A mum has given birth at home to one of the UK's biggest babies - who weights the same as a bowling ball. Proud Emma Fearon, 34, welcomed boy Atticus James Fearon, in a home birth and who arrived at a whopping 11lb 6oz.
Incredibly, the mum-of-three didn't need stitches following the birth on May 24 - during lockdown - and only had gas and air as pain relief.
She now has one of the country's biggest families - her firstborn Aria, three, weighed 10lb 8oz at birth and her second child Amelia, two, was 9lb.
Emma had Atticus in a birthing pool using hypnobirthing techniques set up at her home in Thornton-le-Moore, Cheshire, reports My London.
