Mum forced to fork out £4k on furniture after flat plagued by mould

A family allege they were forced to throw away over £4,000 worth of furniture, clothes and even a TV as their home was plagued by mould.

Mum-of-two Dilkash Wishyar shared horrifying images of the black damp covering her walls and covering a wardrobe in her two-bed home.

Though the mould in the Walsall property has since been treated by Walsall Housing Group, the mum states that the damp in the property continues to leave the carpets soaking and is 'affecting their health', as reported by Birmingham Live.She said: "It's everywhere.

It is all about damp and mould."My little daughter many times, comes into my room after midnight two o'clock, half past one and says 'oh what is happening here, I can't breathe because it smells really bad'."I say 'what can I do?' I can't leave the windows open every time because it's cold.
