A couple told they were having a girl after a gender scan mishap were left stunned by the arrival of their third son. Lauren Keen, 26, and partner Karl Nunn, 30, were told they were having a birth at their only scan, at 20 weeks.
The couple have been together for seven years and already had two boys together, Abel now five, and Opie aged three. Ahead of the birth, they spent hundreds of pounds on pink items, including personalised clothes, in advance of their "precious dolly" arriving." So they were left open-mouthed at the hospital when midwives handed them third son Dexter, who they had planned to call Marilyn.
