Mum dies of brain haemorrhage on Tenerife family holiday leaving two kids behind

A mum-of-two was enjoying a family getaway abroad when she tragically died of a brain haemorrhage, aged just 34. Hairdresser Katie Capewell passed away in Tenerife on February 22, leaving behind her young daughter, eight, and son, 12.Social media has been flooded with emotional tributes to the salon owner, from Pensnett, Dudley, who has been described as a "beautiful person inside and out".

Members of the community, where Katie lived her entire life, gathered at Katie's salon on February 25 to light a candle in her memory, as reported by Birmingham Live.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise £5,000 to give Katie "the send off she truly deserves". Her friend and colleague Leanne Southall has shared a tribute to Katie, describing her as a "beautiful, inspirational, kind, caring, crazy, funny and talented lady who touched many hearts".

The tribute reads: "Our beautiful wife, mommy, daughter, sister, auntie and friend, Katie Marie Capewell, aged 34, sadly passed away with a brain haemorrhage whilst living her best life in Tenerife with her family on February 22, 2022.
