Mum, 41, admits her actions after Premier Inn arrest were 'disgusting'

A drunken mum spat at two police officers and kicked and slapped a third after an altercation at a Premier Inn hotel. Carrie Sears, 41, who had been drinking vodka, was said to have collected as much saliva in her mouth as she could before launching it at the face one of the PCs as he was escorting her to a cell.

Earlier, Sears also spat at a female officer and kicked out at another male PC whilst calling him a 'nonce' when they called to the hotel in Winwick Quay, Warrington, following reports she had driven there whilst drunk.

Tests showed Sears was almost three times the alcohol limit - although she insisted she had only been drinking after she arrived and checked in.

When quizzed, she said she had been drinking heavily to cope with having a nine year old daughter who has Global Development Disorder, the genetic condition Charge Syndrome and cerebral palsy.
