A mum-of-two has described the upsetting moment she was "body-shamed" by a family while shopping in River Island. Janine Cross said she was in the clothing chain's branch in Plymouth, Devon, when she came across a woman and her daughter.
She said she was behind the pair while they were browsing when she heard the girl say: "They only have fat girl sizes." Janine, 30, claims the daughter then turned around, looked at her and said "oops" - before giggling and leaving.
Janine told Plymouth Live she would normally have cried over the incident after years of being "body-shamed". Do you have a view on this story?
Let us know in the comments below But she now has a "more positive mindset" - and said she feels sorry for the girl.
