Mum, 28, whose struggle with depression was 'exacerbated' in lockdown found dead at home

Laura Hoy, 28, had struggled with depression since her late teens and had taken several 'impulsive overdoses' in the past. In the months before her death on July 10 last year Ms Hoy and her fiancéBen Wright had been having relationship problems, which, alongside the lockdown, may have exacerbated how she was feeling, the inquest heard.

Mr Wright found the body of Ms Hoy, who had a young daughter, in the spare room of their home in Royton after she took her own life.
