Muireann O’Connell is back on the Six O’Clock Show after an extremely difficult two weeks following the passing of her father Brendan.
The Limerick native made her TV return with a warm introduction from her co-presenter Ray Foley who proclaimed ‘the return of the Queen.’ Although unimaginably difficult, Muireann went straight into thanking everyone for their immense support the past fortnight acknowledging the endless cards and thoughtful messages sent her way. ‘I just want to say a huge thank you,’ she said, speaking from the heart. ‘I just went into the post room and got my post.
