Alf child star Benji Gregory's cause of death has been revealed - three months after he tragically passed away at the age of 46 in an Arizona car park.
Benji, who is fondly remembered for his role as Brian Tanner in the popular 1980s sitcom that ran for four years until 1990, was discovered dead in his car in Peoria, Arizona, on June 13.Tragically, his service dog Hans was also found deceased alongside him.
According to TMZ, the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner has stated that the former child star's death was due to heat exposure in the setting of hepatic cirrhosis.The scorching Arizona sun is believed to have contributed to his untimely death, and he also had liver scarring caused by long-term damage to the organ, as reported by the US outlet.
At the time of Gregory's death, his sister Rebecca Pfaffinger confirmed the sad news and paid a heartfelt tribute to her brother, remembering him as "fun to be around".
