Mrs Brown’s Boys star Brendan O’Carroll is in mourning over the death of his sister, Fiona, who passed away in Canada. The actor’s co-star and sister Eilish, 68, revealed that the pair had travelled to Canada when Fiona died last month.
Eilish told the Irish Mirror that Brendan had managed to make Fiona laugh right to the very last moment: ‘An awful lot had to be halted for me [recently]. ‘Sadly my sister took very ill and passed away in Canada on 3 March.
I had been out there with her for Christmas but we didn’t manage to get out until the day after she died. ‘[Brendan] was there to see her and got her talking and laughing and singing and I knew she was hanging on for him. ‘They were very close, she was like a second mammy.
