Mrs Brown's Boys' Christmas special went through some last-minute script tweaks, its creator has told. Brendan O'Carroll, who pens and stars in the series as the titular Agnes Brown, revealed that the BBC wanted a segment changed in case the Queen died before the show aired.
The special, which will air on Christmas Day and again on New Year's Day, sees a segment in which Agnes delivers an alternative to the traditional Queen's Speech.
