MrBeast Swats Away Claims His Amazon ‘Beast Games’ Series Exposed Contestants To Unsafe Conditions & Sexual Harassment

MrBeast thinks safety concerns about his Amazon Prime Video series were overstated. The YouTube behemoth, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, said claims that contestants were exposed to unsafe conditions and sexual harassment were “blown out of proportion.” MrBeast made the comment on X (formerly Twitter) after Prime Video released a teaser trailer for Beast Games, which premieres on December 19.

Commenting on the trailer, an individual asked him: “Is this the same one where a lot of contestants complained of terrible conditions?” MrBeast replied: “We have tons of behind the scenes dropping when the show does to show how blown out of proportion these claims were.

Just can’t release it now because it would spoil the games.” The allegations against Beast Games first surfaced in a New York Times investigation in August.

The publication spoke with more than a dozen contestants, who said there was inadequate food or medical care on the game show and that some competitors suffered injuries during physical challenges.
