‘Mr. And Mrs. Smith’ Gets Premiere Date On Prime Video
deadline.comPrime Video has set a winter release date for Mr. and Mrs. Smith, its reimagining of New Regency’s 2005 Doug Liman-directed action comedy film that starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
All eight episodes will release on February 2, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The release date was pushed to 2024 from its initially scheduled November window due to the dual Hollywood strikes. From co-creators and executive producers Donald Glover (Swarm, Atlanta) and Francesca Sloane (Atlanta, Fargo), the series stars Glover as John Smith and Maya Erskine (PEN15) as Jane Smith.
In this version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, two lonely strangers land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travels, and a dream brownstone in Manhattan.
