wolves have escaped their enclosure at a wildlife park and have now been labelled a “grave and imminent danger” to the public. A day after the animals arrived from Riga in Latvia, four wolves broke out of their enclosure at Ecozonia, in Cases-de-Pêne, France.Two of the animals have already been shot dead by forest wardens but the other two are still on the run, leading to a public warning being issued.Two other wolves which did not escape and were still in their enclosure have since been shot by staff using tranquilliser guns over fears that they could disappear as well.Local media outlets also reported that a park keeper had been bitten by a wolf trying to prevent the escape on Monday morning.
