And, you might recognise him. Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star Will Mellor has joined the cast of the ITV soap, but this character is going to be a far cry from lovable rogue Gaz.
Will will be playing the soap’s new ‘out-and-out baddie’, drug lord Harvey. Harvey will be central to the plot of Simon Barlow’s descent into the drug underworld, as he is the boss of Jacob Hay.
Broadchurch actor Will will walk into Weatherfield next month as Leanne Battersby finds herself forced into a dangerous world of drugs and despair.
