Danny Burstein has finally won a Tony Award! The 57-year-old actor picked up his first win after seven nominations at the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. Danny won the award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge.

During his speech, Danny paid tribute to late wife Rebecca Luker, who died in December 2020 from ALS complications. “I want to thank all of you, because, whether you know it or not, my wife passed away in December of ALS, and you all showed up for us.
