A motorway in South Yorkshire is at a standstill after being closed following a crash involving a lorry and a car. The incident has also led to dead pigs being scattered across the road, which witnesses call a 'massacre'.
Traffic has been brought to a stop on the M18 and M62 following a crash involving a lorry and a car at the interchange between two roads.
Motorists in the area are facing significant delays with around five miles of traffic from the M62 interchange heading eastbound.
These delays have been compounded by the works on the Ouse Bridge, HullLive reports. The M18 was closed northbound while emergency services attend the scene at around midday on Thursday (April 14).
