The lads got themselves into a great position at half-time, and it was disappointing to concede so early in the second half, but we did well to hold on in the end.“A point against Rangers is a decent result but we probably wouldn’t have taken that at half-time.“Anything against the Old Firm is a good result but when you’re 2-0 up it’s a little bit disappointing.“But we’ve had a tough fixture schedule, and a point is a good point in the end.“I thought we deserved to win the game, even with conceding two goals.
We’ve put another two in the net, and could have had a few more.”Motherwell have endured a punishing festive schedule with Celtic and Rangers inside four days, and continue that with a trip to Hearts on January 2, followed by a home clash against Aberdeen next Sunday.Sparrow said: “It’s two big games again.
