Alexander was appointed this evening, following an interview process which also involved former St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright and ex-Leeds United manager Simon Grayson, and becomes the 25th man to manage the club.Former Fleetwood Town, Scunthorpe United and Salford City boss Alexander told the club's website: "I am delighted to have been handed this role at a great club."People will get to understand the hard work I put in, along with my staff and players.
