Motherwell's dreams of reaching the Premier Sports Cup were ended by Nedim Bajrami's late strike in a tense semi-final at Hampden Park.The striker's deflected effort in 81 minutes saw Rangers overtake a battling Motherwell side which led at the interval.But it's the Ibrox side that progresses to meet Celtic here in the final next month.Andy Halliday's first-half strike was levelled shortly after the break by Cyriel Dessers, with Bajrami adding a crucial second with nine minutes left.Halliday had put Motherwell ahead in 25 minutes with what turned out to be Motherwell's only shot on target in the half.The Lanarkshire side had to soak up quite a bit of pressure otherwise, and Dessers was guilty of two quite shocking misses when Rangers fans would have expected so much more.Rangers came out swinging in the second half and levelled four minutes in through Dessers, before Bajrami's late strike took them into the final.Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell made two changes from the side that beat Dundee United 2-1 on Wednesday, with Liam Gordon and Andy Halliday coming in for Tom Sparrow and injured Stephen O'Donnell.Rangers manager Philippe Clement also made two changes from their midweek defeat at Aberdeen, as Jefte and Vaclav Cerny came in for Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Ross McCausland.
