A mother and daughter were assaulted in a dispute over a road traffic cone, it is claimed. Police have launched an investigation after the incident in Hulme, Manchester part of which was caught on film.
The 42-year-old mother drove her Mercedes car into Wilberforce Close, when she stopped to remove a cone which was in the middle of the street.
She was then surrounded by a large group of people. Her partner, who asked not to be named, alleges she and her daughter, 21, were attacked by a group of several teenagers and adults.
He said: "She drove into the road and stopped to get out of the car to move the cone as it was in the middle of the road and she wanted to get past.
