Morrissey has today (December 5) announces some new shows for later this month – including a New Year’s Eve gig in LA. Check out all the full details below.Posting on Instagram, the former Smiths frontman announced that he would be playing two gigs in LA on December 28 and 29 followed by a New Year’s Eve gig, also in LA.A post stated that “Morrissey will be leading the countdown from stage, complete with midnight balloon drop.”Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday December 6 at 12pm PST (8pm UK time).

In August, Morrissey had claimed that Marr had “ignored” a lucrative offer from AEG Entertainment Group to reunite the band.

He then alleged that a Smiths ‘Greatest Hits’ album had been “blocked” by the guitarist.Shortly after, Morrissey claimed that Marr now owns all of the “trademark rights and Intellectual Property” of The Smiths, and can tour as a band without him.Last week, Morrissey responded to a Wikipedia page about him that listed him as an ex-member of two bands he claims he has “no connection” with, The Nosebleeds and Slaughter And The Dogs.
