Supermarket giant Morrisons is setting up a summer of savings for its millions of customers by slashing the prices of 400 household favourites across its stores - with a plan to lock in the low prices for the entirety of the summer.
Shoppers will see the chain knocking pounds off common fridge and cupboard staples, including everything from cod fillets to jaffa cakes, both in-store and online.
The move should help many families struggling with the continued high cost of groceries as a result of the cost of living crisis.
According to the Food Foundation, the nation's shopping baskets have gone up in value by 24 per cent since 2022, which has disproportionately affected families and those already on the breadline.
