A fruit lover was stunned to discover a giant foot-long banana in the family grocery shop that was as big as her arm - and claimed it was the 'best banana I've had in my life.' Sam Palmer did a double take when she looked through the food shop on Thursday and encountered the freakishly large staple food.
The 31-year-old merchandise assistant burst out laughing when she spotted the huge fruit, that usually retails at about 15p per item, in the Morrisons groceries ordered by her mum Paula.
