Morrisons has issued an important update for shoppers after the supermarket ran into technical difficulties this morning. On Monday (December 23), the retailer identified issues with its More Card loyalty programme and its click-and-collect service.
This left some shoppers paying more, with one venting on social media after they were charged 69p for carrots and not the anticipated 10p.To compensate for the issues, Morrisons has announced price changes for all customers, both for regular and More Card customers.
The latter of this will also receive further discounts on their shopping this week "as an apology".In a statement issued today, A Morrisons spokesperson said: "Today we are experiencing some system issues which are affecting our More Card customers.
For More Card customers who have Morrisons Fivers to redeem, these will be done manually in store by colleagues."All our stores have now made the top 100 More Card prices the regular price - including the 10p veg deal, turkeys, spirits and champagne.
