On Wednesday morning’s episode, Balls was sitting in mock-airplane seating on set behind Reid, 53, a British TV presenter known from “Strictly Come Dancing,” a UK precursor to “Dancing With the Stars.” Balls and Reid were discussing if it’s OK to put your feet up on the seat in front of you during a plane or train ride.They were joined on the mock-plane set by commentators Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire.
While they all sat in their seats, Reid began asking, “Is it okay for Ed and Andrew then to… ?”She was then interrupted by Balls, sitting behind her and stretching his legs out on top of her seat, accidentally kicking her.
Reid immediately bent forward, crumpling as if in pain. Balls sprang out of his seat and bent over to touch her arm, saying, “I’m sorry!” while Pierce and Maguire joked about knowing, “Personal injury lawyers,” if she needed them.
