Moritz Jenz has revealed he misses playing at Parkhead after the former Celtic defender made his debut in the Bundesliga for struggling Schalke.
And he admitted he had to quit Scotland because of a lack of playing time under Ange Postecoglou. The German defender made 19 appearances for Celtic this season after signing on loan from French club Lorient, but the deal was cut short after he wasn't in Celtic's plans after the World Cup break.
He joined homeland club Schalke on loan again and helped them to a clean sheet at the weekend after his debut against Cologne, but they are stranded at the bottom of the Bundesliga.
And Jenz admitted he still pines for Parkhead. He said: "It's crazy how the fans are back in Scotland. You hear them as soon as you make a tackle because, with Celtic, that would mean it's the start of a new attack.
