Morgan Wallen is still No. 1. The 27-year-old singer-songwriter’s Dangerous: The Double Album remains at the top spot on the Billboard 200 as of Sunday (March 7), the company reported.
Last month, footage surfaced of the singer using a racial slur, which has yet to make any significant impact on his sales, despite being suspended from his record label and ineligible for some awards.
Dangerous is now one of only six country albums that have spent at least eight weeks in total at No. 1, earning 82,000 equivalent album units in the past week.
It now ties Taylor Swift’s 2020 album Folklore for the second-most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the last five years across all genres. Drake’s Views has the most weeks at No.
