The 27-year-old singer was roasted for his recent SNL debacle while attending the event on Wednesday (November 11) at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn. Morgan was removed from the Saturday Night Live lineup when he was spotted partying without a mask just days before he was set to appear on the show.
During the opening monologue, host Darius Rucker joked, “For your safety, I just want everybody to know that I’ve had Morgan Wallen quarantine in my dressing room for two weeks now, so he might make the show.
I’m not sure.” Morgan performed his song “More Than My Hometown” during the show and he also won the award for New Artist of the Year.
