Morgan Sanson claims Aston Villa have signed a “warrior” after he joined from Marseille. Villa have paid £14million for the French midfielder taking their spending on new players this season to nearly £100million.

The 26-year-old ace has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Villa Park under boss Dean Smith. Sanson played for Le Mans and Montpellier before joining Marseille in January 2017.

He impressed helping Marseille to second in Ligue 1 last season and to the Europa League final in 2018.
