More than a million people can claim a free drink from Starbucks

Starbucks is giving away free drinks to NHS workers across the country on Thursday. All NHS staff can claim one free 'tall' beverage at Starbucks when they show a valid NHS ID card.

All drinks are eligible, including festive favourites such as the Toffee Nut Latte, the brand-new Gingerbread Cream Iced Chai Tea Latte and Caramel Waffle Cream Iced Latte.

In addition, Starbucks are delivering some goodies to participating hospitals. They are gifting 25,000 Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso cans and 42,000 Starbucks Premium Instant sachets alongside baked goods such as chocolate covered pretzels and vegan brownies directly to hospitals. This is the fifth year Starbucks has partnered with NHS Charities Together for this morale-boosting initiative. There are around 1.5m NHS workers across the UK.
