More than 350 Greater Manchester schools report Covid cases since start of academic year

While we have not been alerted to every closure - and the true figure expected to be even higher - today's list includes a number of confirmed cases among Wigan schools after the council started releasing its own weekly update to show which ones have been affected across the borough.
Today's figures come after we revealed how some primary school children are now facing their second lot of isolation since the beginning of the school year.
Youngsters in Year 2 at Meanwood Primary School had just spent a fortnight at home after a child tested positive in their bubble when they were sent home for a second time last week.
