Gardeners’ World host Monty last week shared the sad news his golden retriever Nigel, who would have turned 12 over the weekend, died – leaving fans of the BBC show in tears.
However, as he continues to share sweet memories of his pal, Monty has previously recalled how Nigel was saved from death one autumn day.
Sharing the dog’s love of fetch, Monty remembered having to rush Nigel to Noel’s clinic after a slipped disc following an overzealous leap left him in a state.
