Montana Brown on life after Love Island: 'People feel embarrassed to go back to jobs'

Montana Brown has opened up on life after Love Island for many contestants, and said that some of those that don’t end up successful feel “embarrassed” about returning to their day jobs.

Montana, 26, shot to fame on the popular ITV2 show in 2017 and lasted an impressive 50 days in the Love Island villa. While Montana has gone on to become a successful influencer, as well as launching her own swimwear line called Swim Society, not everyone ends up successful after leaving the show.

With this in mind, Montana believes that there needs to be more support for people once the buzz has died down. “It’s not fair for people to be left in despair,” she told us. “Some people have such a different experience on Love Island.

People go on the show and think, ‘I’m going to be famous. I’m going to be so successful. I’m never going to need to work ever again, and I’m going to have a really easy life posting pictures on Instagram,’ and, for a lot of people, that is the case. “When they offer you help at the start you think, ‘I don’t need therapy, life’s amazing.
