A savvy mum has revealed how she manages to save £300 a month on her food bill. Nicole McShane follows some simple steps to cut back on her spending, while keeping up sustainable habits to help the planet.

Nicole, who says she feeds her family six weeks’ worth of lunches and dinners for around £62, took to TikTok to impart her money-saving wisdom.

And her advice has been well-received, with her video wracking up almost 50,000 views on the social media platform under the name @mrsnicolemcshane.

The 30-second clip begins with her making a list of meals and their ingredients.
