This was the moment police descended on a south Manchester business for a drugs bust. Officers descended on Fog Lane, in Burnage, yesterday evening (May 29).
Footage, seen by the Manchester Evening News, shows seven officers outside a shuttered business as the raid took place. One of the officers used a battering ram to force open a side door at the premises.
The M.E.N. understands the drugs raid involved suspected nitrous oxide. Greater Manchester Police says the business owner will be questioned, while a man has been arrested on suspicion of working illegally. there were six or seven police and a lot of staff came out. Later on the owner came along to remonstrate with police." A GMP spokesman said: "At around 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 29 2024), officers executed a Section 23 warrant at a business premises on Fog Lane, Manchester.
