Instagram tribute to the late director, who died by suicide at age 47 on Jan. 3.Shannon’s Jan. 4 post included on and off-set photos from four of the movies that they worked on together.

Plaza, 40, appeared in some of the pictures, as well.Shannon captioned her post with a broken heart emoji.Of the five movies that Baena directed, Shannon starred in four of them: 2014’s “Life After Beth,” 2017’s “The Little Hours,” 2020’s “Horse Girl” and 2022’s “Spin Me Round.”Plaza was in “Life After Beth” and “The Little Hours” with Shannon.Alison Brie, who also starred in some of Baena’s projects and co-wrote “Horse Girl and “Spin Me Round” with him, appeared in a few of the photos from Shannon’s tribute.

She honored Baena on her Instagram Story with several pics of the pair and a broken heart emoji.Brie, 42, included a link to Adam Pally’s tribute post too.

Pally, 42, collaborated with Baena on three of his films.“Jeff Baena was a sweet, Jewish boy from Miami,” Pally wrote on his Instagram Jan.
