A gang of electric bike riders have been captured 'running red lights' and prompting chaos on a main road in Edinburgh. Around three or four riders have been spotted in black clothing and balaclavas with goggles while performing stunts on bikes at Maybury Road on Sunday, September 25.

Dismayed locals have slammed the mob, claiming they have 'no regard for traffic or people walking', Edinburgh Live reports. One local said: "I see them occasionally on the three big roundabouts by Calder Road, it could be different kids but I often see one on these electric bikes when I'm out riding in the area.

On this occasion they were just riding like little brats."They are on the sidewalk by the Mariott Hotel and performing wheelies and running red lights at the crossing heading towards Maybury with no care for people walking or traffic whatsoever.

Their faces were hidden with balaclavas and black goggles of sorts."The group could be seen on both a dark blue and an orange and white bike outside the B&M bargains on Maybury Road. The eye witness added that the more attention this attracts the better as these 'gangs' are tormenting residents across the city.
