Dubai's missing princess was taunted by her guards who gave her a stopwatch to count down her time in captivity, it was revealed today.
Princess Latifa, who was reportedly abducted two years ago, said she was told by a female guard she could be held in the villa complex she is being kept captive for another 12 months.
Friends of the 35-year-old say she is being imprisoned in Dubai by the powerful ruler of the emirate - her father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
David Haigh, a human rights lawyer representing Princess Latifa, received the texts about the stopwatch last year. He wants her to be brought to the UK and claimed she has been denied medical care by her captors.
