The mum of missing Ben Ross has spoken out after the he disappeared in Mallorca this month. Ben had been on the Spanish island, where he was trying to make a life for himself, when he was last seen on July 7.
The 26-year-old had managed to find himself a job at an energy company working in sales before finding a flatshare with a couple in Palma, in the south of the island, moving from his home in Golborne in Wigan, his mum explained.
Despite things looking up, his mum said a "series of unfortunate events" led to her son's mental health spiralling. She said Ben has a history of mental health illness and was sectioned in Liverpool for nine weeks last year.
On July 6, Ben allegedly had his bag, containing his phone, wallet, keys and iPad, stolen while he went for a swim in the ocean.
