A Miss Scotland finalist hopes to take a "leap from her comfort zone" in a bid to increase her global reach and break the mould.Ayr girl Jade MacIntyre will bid to land the beauty pageant crown later this month.
Up for grabs is a trip to represent her country in the Miss World final in India at the end of the year.Jade - a pro gamer by day - has already gained huge success with her 'RealSlimJadey' channel proving an online smash hit.
But she confesses the step on to the catwalk is a new challenge she is relishing.The 25-year-old said: "I'm lucky enough to represent my country in my chosen field and it's brought eyes from around the world on to what I do."I was able to take part in a beauty campaign for Yves Saint Lauren earlier this year, which was an incredible experience.
But this is something different again and gives me a chance to take it a step further. It's definitely a leap out of my comfort zone, though, and that's why I like it.
