Miranda Cosgrove hinted that an iCarly project was in the works that would give fans the closure they needed after the show’s revival cancellation.

In a new interview, Cosgrove discussed the possibility of a movie to tie up loose ends left by Paramount+’s decision to cancel the revival series after three seasons. “I’m not allowed to 100% confirm anything yet but I think the fans of the show are going to be super excited because we have something in the works,” Cosgrove said on The Talk.

Natalie Morales followed up asking Cosgrove if it involved “bringing back old favorites,” to which the former Nickelodeon star said, “Yes, and we actually ended the revival on a cliffhanger, and we’re going to wrap that up.” iCarly was a teen sitcom created by Dan Schneider that ran on Nickelodeon between 2007 and 2012 for six seasons.

The series revolved around Cosgrove’s Carly Shay and her best friend Sam Puckett (Jeannette McCurdy), who become internet stars producing their show online.
