Miranda Cosgrove is speaking out about Jennette McCurdy‘s allegations about working on iCarly for Nickelodeon.
In her new memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died, out on August 12, Jennette, 30, claims that the network offered her $300,000 if she agreed to not speak about her experiences there.
She said she rejected the offer, and also alleged she was encouraged to drink alcohol at work while still underage, and was photographed in a bikini at a wardrobe fitting. Jennette went on to talk about being exploited by a Nickelodeon executive, who she referred to as “The Creator,” claiming that he would give her shoulder massages without her asking.
