Miramax Appoints Marc Helwig Head Of Worldwide Television, Inks First-Look Deal With Michael Edelstein

Helwig, who has a background as an executive, producer and talent agent, will oversee development and production for the company’s slate of scripted programming, reporting to Miramax CEO Bill Block.
Additionally, Miramax has signed a first-look TV deal with producer and former NBCUniversal International Studios president Michael Edelstein.
Under the two-year arrangement, which includes backing for staff and a discretionary development fund, Edelstein will develop content for Miramax’s television operation.
