Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent “Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir,” the hit Paris-set superhero adventure show, has been acquired by Spanish broadcaster Atresmedia in a deal comprising all five seasons of the blockbuster series.
The show, which airs in over 150 countries, will headline Atresmedia’s newly expanded “Neox Kidz” children’s programming block, starting on Jan.
7. The deal was brokered by Mediawan Kids & Family. The Neox Kids programming will be available with extended hours from 6am-10am on weekdays, and 6am to 2pm on weekends and boast exclusive premium kids’ content. “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir” is the first new series acquired for Neox Kids’ updated block. “Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir” was previously available in Spain on Disney Channel.
Disney+ will continue to be the home to new “Miraculous” content with season six launching early 2025. “The acquisition of ‘Miraculous’ marks a pivotal moment for Neox Kidz as we reinforce our commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment for children and young audiences,” said Lola Molina, director of programming, promotion and broadcast at Atresmedia Television. “By adding ‘Miraculous’—a cultural phenomenon and globally celebrated animated series—we enhance our lineup with captivating stories rich in diversity, values, and stunning visuals.
