The minister responsible for moving more government jobs out of London has set out what kind of opportunities will be on offer in Greater Manchester.
Conservative MP John Glen has promised the huge migration of civil servants out of the capital will continue, with more roles set to be relocated to other parts of the country during a visit to some government offices in Manchester city centre.
It comes after the cabinet office minister set out his ambition to cut the size of the civil service in a speech on Tuesday (January 23).
But speaking to the Manchester Evening News on Thursday (January 25), he said the creation of jobs outside of London will continue.
