Chancellor Rishi Sunak has unveiled a "jobs, jobs, jobs" package worth up to £30bn to help the UK in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The top Tory admitted the fight for the economy is only just starting as he gave a statement to Parliament today. Stamp Duty is slashed, everyone will get a restaurant discount in August, and homeowners will get £5,000 vouchers to make their properties greener.

Pubs, hotels and zoos will also be cheaper as VAT is slashed from 20% to 5% - though not on alcohol. And employers will get a £1,000 bonus for not sacking people when the furlough scheme.
