Kevin Nisbet is set to join English Championship side Millwall on a three-year deal, according to reports. The Lions have reportedly splashed out £2 million to secure the Scotland international, who hails from Cambuslang, five months after he pulled out a deal to join them in the January transfer window. The 26-year-old is understood to have completed a medical in London ahead of his official unveiling, penning a three-year contract which includes the option for a further year.If he completes his move south, it will put an end to a long-running saga that has seen the striker twice on the cusp of a move away from Scotland. In 2021, he was on the verge of joining Birmingham City but Hibs refused to accept an offer in the region of £3m for their star man and earlier this year Nisbet decided against joining Millwall as he felt the time wasn't right for him. Now, however, he looks set to make that leap ahead of joining up with the Scotland squad for next week's Euro 2024 qualifiers with Norway and Georgia.Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
