The retired police officer pictured being carried away from a gang of protesters has praised the man who saved his life - and said he was just there to protect statues.
Bryn Male broke his silence to claim he would not be here if it were not for personal trainer Patrick Hutchinson. The 55-year-old was hoisted to safety last weekend after being surrounded, knocked to the ground and beaten as tempers flared at Black Lives Matter protests in London.
