Milky Way fans angered after popular chocolate axed in UK as petition launched

Shoppers are enraged that a beloved Milky Way treat will no longer be on supermarket shelves. Chocolate lovers will be sad to hear that the iconic Milky Way crispy rolls have been discontinued in the UK, Manchester Evening News reports.

The move has caused outrage among fans of the snack and have fuelled them to launch a petition calling for their return, which has gained more than 1,500 signatures.Shoppers condemned the recall, calling it "disappointing".

Milky Way Crispy Rolls are produced by Mars UK also known as Mars Wrigley UK. The bars are made of chocolate with a light crisp biscuit.

The biscuit centre is coated in a fluffy whipped topping, enclosed in rich milk chocolate.The petition reads: "Many people might have noticed that this product hasn’t been sold in shops or online shops because it has been discontinued, which is very disappointing.
